Disaster Preparedness

With over 30 years of restoration work experience United Services strongly encourages emergency preparedness.

For persons with disabilities this may require additional planning.  Here are some helpful suggestions for when disaster strikes:

-Prepare a disaster kit-

this should include medications, food for special diets, batteries for medical equipment and supplies for a service animal.

-Prepare a list of pertinent medical information-

This should include your doctors' contact information as well as insurance company information.  If you receive medical treatment on a regular basis it's important to find additional locations were you can continue treatment.  A list of your prescriptions, doctors' orders and allergies is also a must.

-Plan in case of power outages-

Extra batteries and generators can help when alternate electrical sources are needed as backup for medical devices, wheelchairs, or simply to keep medications refrigerated.

-Spread the word-

Let your friends and family know of your disaster preparedness plan.  Inform everyone where you have your medical supplies kit, information etc. so that they will be able to assist you if necessary.

What our customers are saying about United Services by Permaco Inc.:

"I could not have asked for a better company to work with.  I was very happy with your crew and services.  I would come home and couldn't believe some of the great things they did.  My windows have never looked so clean.  I would be glad to recommend United Services to others."
